Q: What does Kaleo mean?

A: Kaleo is a Greek word that means “called”. We are called by God into a relationship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ. We are called into lasting relationships with one another. We are called to love and serve our city in the name of Christ.

Q: What is a Community Group?

A: A Community is a group of people living life, growing in faith, and serving their communities together. For more information, see the Community Groups section of our website.

Q: How do I get involved?

A: The best way to get involved at Kaleo is to join The City. On The City you can interact with other people at Kaleo, find out about upcoming activities, join a Community Group, and discover volunteer opportunities.

Q: Does Kaleo have a Children’s Ministry?

A: Kaleo has a fantastic Children’s Ministry headed up by our Kaleo Kids Director, Sue Streger. Visit the Kaleo Kids section of our website for more information.

Q: Does Kaleo have a Youth Ministry?

A: Kaleo doesn’t have a Youth Ministry. We encourage our teenagers to be thriving and vital parts of the Kaleo family. We have teenagers involved as volunteers and in our Community Groups.

Q: Is Kaleo part of a denomination?

A: Kaleo is affiliated with the Acts 29 Network, a non-denominational church-planting network of hundreds of churches worldwide. Kaleo is also affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas.
