Jesus is at the center of everything we do. Here’s a brief intro to what we believe.

Intimacy with God

As a church, we’re unashamed followers of Jesus. We believe that Jesus is alive today and working for the good of the world and mankind, fully God and fully man, the Son of God, the redeemer who reconciled us to the Father through His obedience, even to death. It’s through Jesus that our sins are forgiven and our relationship with God is made right. And it’s by the power of His Spirit, following His example, that we become part of His plan to redeem the whole world.

Community with Believers

Biblical community is more than just getting together for coffee every once in a while. It’s mutual sacrifice. How we interact with each other is part of what makes us Christian. Biblical community is about daily putting others ahead of ourself. It’s about helping someone move, making dinner if someone is sick, watching a couple’s kids so they can go on a date, being a shoulder to cry on, or even providing a place to crash if someone has nowhere else to go. It’s all of those things and more. At the end of the day, Biblical community isn’t hard. But it is intentional.

Influence with Others

Mark Driscoll said in his book, Radical Reformission, “Mission is ultimately about being like Jesus, through his empowering grace…to be a Christian, literally, is to be a ‘little Christ.’ It is imperative that Christians be like Jesus, by living freely within the culture as missionaries who are as faithful to the Father and his gospel as Jesus was in his time and place.”

Kaleo is a Church that values mission. We believe that the life of every Christian should exemplify the character of Jesus, who gave of himself to the point of death. As such, we give of our time, talents, and resources to serve one another and our city. First and foremost, we seek to make Jesus known to our neighbors through our words and our actions.
