Haiti: How You Can Help
Kaleo is joining Christians all over the world to help bring relief and hope to the destruction in Haiti. After prayerful consideration, the Elder Team at Kaleo is recommending those wishing to help work with one of the following organizations (please visit each website for stories, pictures, and to learn more about how you can help):
Churches Helping Churches
Churches Helping Churches is a cooperative response within the Acts 29 Network, designed to address the immediate and long-term needs of churches when disaster befalls a country, region, city, or people in the spirit of Galatians 6:10—“…let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
Living Water International
Living Water International is mobilizing to help communities in Haiti restore clean water to the people of Haiti, with a goal of repairing 500 incapacitated water pumps within the next year.
Real Hope for Haiti
This is an organization that has been working in Haiti for a number of years, and since the earthquake has been operating a clinic that has provided a tremendous amount of medical care to the survivors.
These are just three options – there a so many other great organizations doing so much to help. If you’ve got a suggestion of other organizations that need assistance, please leave a note in the comments (and be sure to include a website link).
Most of all, let’s join together in continued prayer that the peace and mercy of Jesus would spread throughout Haiti through the generosity, sacrifice, and hard work of God’s people mobilized from around the world.

New Message Series: Thy Kingdom Come
This Sunday, January 10, we’re kicking off a new message series walking through the Gospel of Mark. Mark wrote this fast-paced, action-filled account of Jesus life based on the teaching and instruction of the Apostle Peter – and the entire book gives us a great picture of what it means that God’s Kingdom has come. Join us as we worship Jesus as he is revealed in this amazing book.
